Sliding Scale Fee Structure:
At Unison, we are committed to accessibility and flexibility in our pricing. Our fees are based on an income-based sliding scale, ensuring affordability for every client. We trust our clients’ integrity regarding their financial circumstances and offer the flexibility to adjust fees with changes in your financial situation, without requiring proof of income. For relationship therapy, the combined income of all parties should be considered.
In-Person Therapy Fee:
Please note, in-person therapy sessions include an additional charge of $20 per session.
Full-Fee Policy:
Unison operates on a full-fee basis, with payments due within 14 days of invoicing. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services and strive to keep our rates competitive to accommodate all clients. Unfortunately, Australian Medicare rebates do not apply to our counselling or relationship support services, as they are restricted to registered psychologists, social workers, and certain occupational therapists. However, our team at Unison meets all professional registration requirements and adheres to the highest standards of practice.
Private Health Insurance:
For clients seeing Meg Wilson for therapy, we can provide provider numbers for various private health funds including Bupa, Medibank, and others. Coverage and rebate levels vary by plan; we recommend contacting your insurer to confirm your benefits before scheduling an appointment.
Please inform our administrative team if you require a provider number for claiming purposes.
Afterpay:
We offer Afterpay as a convenient payment option for sessions, facilitating easier access to our services.
Concession Rates:
Acknowledging the limitation on Medicare rebates, we offer a limited number of concession rates for individuals holding a concession or healthcare card, or for full-time students. Due to high demand, we maintain a waiting list for these rates, which currently has a six-month wait period.

Cancellation Policy
Any session for individual or relationship therapy booked with Unison Counselling can be cancelled or changed up to 24hrs prior to the scheduled date/time. Please email us or access your appointments via the Halaxy portal.
If a client is a no-show or cancels within the 24hr window of the scheduled time they may incur the full fee of the session as charged automatically via the saved credit card.
